So, 10 months has come and gone, and I am still here in GUATEMALA! For some of you it has been about that long since I have heard from you! But I just wanted to let you all know how I am doing! I just cleaned my memory card off with all our baptism and family photos so these are mostly of my area here in the capital. I LOVE GUATEMALA!!!!!!! I dont' think I could have enough exclamation marks to truely express my feelings....but the real reason as to why I love guatemala, isn't because they have really cool markets, or a lot of garbage, or the jungle areas, or cement houses with tin roofs....those are all close seconds. The real reason that I love it here is that all day every day I am testifying that Jesus is the Christ! That God has restored his Gospel again in the earth through the profet Joseph Smith. We have the Book of Mormon to use with the Bible and to help us truely know our Savior and the promises that he has made with his people. To be able to feel his love and to help people receive their own personal witness of the spirit through sincere prayer and scripture study. Missions are great! And how lucky am I, that not only do I get to teach the gospel all day, but also I am the Mission Nurse here in Guatemala! 180 missionaries! We use one of the nicest hospitals here in the capital and I have gotten to work more with various Doctors and Specialists. I found out that the Hospital Herrera Llerandi has a website so I thought I would include that for all of you who are curioius and want to see it. http://www.herrerallerandi.com/ But there are so many neat experiences that I never could have anywhere else. Service comes in so many shapes and forms and I truely just feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunity that I have to be here.
